Who is our perfect candidate?
3DBattery is looking for an outstanding chemist/electrochemist for the project which entails scientific research and the development of new polymeric structures and materials.
Specifically, we are aiming to develop new solid polymer electrolytes, which will be used in high-capacity rechargeable Li-ion solid-state batteries, and power safely electric vehicles (EV), energy grid storage, wearables, IoT, and more.
As an R&D researcher, you will be involved in the synthesis/functionalization, processing, and characterization of Li-ion conductive polymers and polymer electrolytes.
Besides, you will take part in the characterizations of the active materials and solid electrolyte using analytical methods, and will gain hands-on experience in batteries assembly and testing.
You will also take part in a variety of local and international collaborations involving industry and academia.
What exactly are we looking for:
• Excelled scientist (preferably a PhD) in the field of polymer chemistry/materials science/electrochemistry
• Expertise in polymer synthesis/functionalization and characterization; experience in physicochemical and electrochemical characterization techniques; knowledge in Li-ion batteries;
• Ability to independently plan and carry out demanding research activities in accordance with the guidelines set out by the supervisor
• Team player in a dynamic atmosphere, out-of-the-box thinking, with a strong desire to excel within a vibrant start-up environment
